Norfolk Premier Golf is delighted to be working with the prestigious Performance Golf Derby (www.performance-golf.co.uk) and in partnership with Sports Specialist College, Thorpe St. Andrew School, Norwich who will deliver the academic programme over two years.
The structure of the course :
BTEC NATIONAL DIPLOMA IN SPORT (PERFORMANCE & EXCELLENCE)
LEVEL 3 EQUIVALENT TO AS/A2 LEVEL
The qualification is to give students the knowledge, understanding and skills they need to prepare for employment or progress into the golf industry or higher education. The course provides a support system to help young golfers fulfil their potential and knowledge to reach the highest level.
The Performance Golf Academy delivers high quality coaching and support covering technical, tactical, psychological lifestyle planning, equipment assessment, fitness well renowned national coaching expert work alongside NPGA dedicated professional team of experts.
Students will be put through an introductory Player Assessment Programme to establish areas of strength and weaknesses covering long game, short game, on course, physiological screening, mental skills, goal setting, planning and management and understanding equipment technology.
Through our links with Eaton Golf Club competitive golf will be played on their 18 hole golf parkland course within easy driving distance of our facility.
